LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's tennis team wraps up Western Athletic Conference play this weekend (April 7-9) in Seattle with a trio of matches at the Championship Field Tennis Courts.

The host, Seattle U, will be NM State's first road block to its regular-season title defense when the two teams square off at 2 p.m. (MT). The Redhawks enter this weekend's contest 9-11 overall and 0-2 in WAC play. SU's two losses in league play have come at the hands of UTRGV and UMKC in Phoenix.

NM State (11-5, 2-0 WAC) then faces UMKC at 9 a.m. (MT) on Saturday, April 8, before wrapping up against UTRGV at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The 'Roos are 8-7 overall on the year and 2-1 in conference play. UMKC picked up its win against UTRGV and Seattle U in the first WAC pod two weeks ago. The Vaqueros are just 4-18 on the year and 1-1 in league play. UTRGV's lone win in WAC play came against this weekend's host, Seattle U.

At the end of this upcoming weekend, NM State will have wrapped up a murderous 18-match road swing. The Aggies then hosts back-to-back home matches when they return before hosting the WAC Championships in Las Cruces.
