DENVER – The New Mexico State men's tennis doubles team of Louis Menard and Jordy Visser was named the Western Athletic Conference doubles team of the month on Tuesday.
 
The pair opened up the fall season going 3-1 and fell in the Crimson singles draw championship match. The two then went 2-2 at the Wildcat Invitational before advancing to the quarterfinals at the ITA Bedford Cup in the Mountains hosted by Air Force Academy.
 
NM State will get some relief but won't have too much time before they have to head out to Denver for the ITA Mountain Regional (Oct. 16-20) hosted by the Denver Pioneers.
