LAS VEGAS – The New Mexico State women's tennis team concluded its weekend in Sin City with a 4-0 victory over UC Riverside on Sunday at the Ferttita Tennis Complex on the campus of UNLV.

The Aggies (3-4) took an early 1-0 lead after taking the doubles point thanks to wins at the No. 3 and No. 2 courts, respectively, against the Highlanders (2-5). NM State's top doubles team were ahead 4-3 when the point was clinched.

Yadira Rubio made it 2-0 in favor of the Crimson & White after she took down UCR's Hanh Pham 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 5 singles slot.
Chloe Gavino pushed the lead to 3-0 with a 6-2, 6-3 triumph over Sara Khattab on court No. 6 before
Rebecca Keijzerwaard clinched the match at the top singles position 6-3, 6-4 for NM State.

Linday Harlas forced a third set when the match was clinched while
Harsha Challa was trailing 6-3, 4-3 on court No. 3.
Neus Torregrosa had won her first set 6-2 but was trailing in the second set 5-4 when play was halted.

New Mexico State now returns home to the friendly confines of the NM State Tennis Complex where it'll play host to Central Oklahoma (Feb. 22) and UTSA (Feb. 24) this upcoming weekend.
