LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's tennis team hits the road for a pair of matches this weekend in Dallas.

First up for the Aggies will be the Panthers of Prairie View A&M on Saturday, March 2, at 9 a.m. (MT) inside the UTA Tennis Center. PVAM is 2-12 on the season but have won its last two matches.

New Mexico State then concludes the weekend against UT Arlington on Sunday, March 3, at 9 a.m. The Mavericks enter the weekend 5-3 in dual action and have won their last three matches. UTA has found success at home this season, posting a 5-1 record when playing at the UTA Tennis Center.

Enrique Pardo leads a trio of players with double-digit wins in singles play, checking in with 13 wins – seven of which have come in dual play. Guanarteme Nuez and Mauricio Rio each check in with 11 wins apiece on the year with an identical 5-3 mark in dual action.

The duo of Guanarteme and Rio as well as Pardo and Eduard Simo own a team-best six wins in doubles play through eight dual matches. However, Pardo and Simo are a perfect 6-0 at No. 2 doubles this year while Guanarteme and Rio are 4-4.

NM State will stay on the road the following week as it heads to the California state capitol for the Golden State Invitational (March 8-9) hosted by Sacramento State and UC Davis.
