DENVER – New Mexico State men's tennis sophomore
Louis Menard led the way for the Aggies as the Western Athletic Conference end of year wards rolled in on Thursday.

In the singles category, Menard was the lone Aggie to earn First-Team All-WAC honors after going 24-10 during the regular season and 15-6 in dual action with a perfect 5-0 record in conference play. This is the second-straight year the Annecy, France, native has earned first-team honors in singles.

Stijn de Haan and
Martin Simecek took home Second-Team All-WAC honors in singles play. This is the fourth-consecutive season de Haan has earned all-conference honors and third time he has tallied second-team selections in his Aggie career. The Veldhoven, Netherlands, product recorded 15 wins overall on the season with seven wins in dual play and 3-2 in league action. In his first season with the Aggies, Simecek garnered second-team distinction after posting 15 wins in the regular-season with eight coming from dual play and a 3-2 record in WAC matches.

New Mexico State's top doubles team of
Mauri Benitez and de Haan as well as its No. 3 doubles team of Louis Flores and
Nicolas Buitrago were honored with Second-Team All-WAC honors as well to round out the list of winners. Benitez and de Haan finished the regular-season together with a 15-9 overall mark and were 3-2 in league play while Flores and Buitrago were 12-5 overall and 4-1 in conference matches.

NM State is off to Brownsville, Texas, this weekend for the WAC Championships where it'll play as the No. 2 seed and get a bye in the first round. The Aggies will face the winner between No. 3 UMKC and No. 6 Seattle U on Saturday, April 27, at Noon (MT) inside the Brownsville Tennis Center.
