LAKEWOOD, Wash. – The New Mexico State men's golf team is in fourth place after firing a 301 (+17) during the second round of the Western Athletic Conference Championship at Oakbrook Golf Club. NM State sits at 283-301—584 (+16) through two rounds.
 
Individually, Mike McGilton moved up into a tie for ninth place with a two –round score of 73-71—144 (+2). Behind McGilton is Niall Powell in a 13^th-place tie after he fired a 72-73—145 (+2) through two rounds. Ryo Harada checks in in a tie for 23^rd (+7) while Tadhg Campbell and Garrison Smith are tied for 26^th at (+9).
 
Kansas City moved into first place with a scorching 278 (-6) on day two to bring its total score to 290-278—568 (-6). Grand Canyon sits in second with a score of 294-281—575 (-3) with Seattle U rounding out the top-3 with a 291-286—577 (+9).
