LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State head men's tennis coach
Carlos Vargas released the 2019-20 schedule Tuesday afternoon and will once again be a road heavy team.

NM State opens the year with the annual Aggie Invitational Sept. 13-15 at the NM State Tennis Center. New Mexico State then begins a long road swing that starts at the Arizona Invitational (Sept. 20-22) before heading to the Air Force Invitational (Sept. 27-29) the following week. The Aggies finally wrap up their fall slate with the ITA Mountain Regionals (Oct. 16-20) in the Mile High City hosted by Denver.

The spring dual season opens up on the road for NM State in Las Vegas, Nev., where it'll face off against host UNLV on Jan. 31 before playing Hawaii later that day. It'll then conclude the road trip with UC Riverside and Pacific on Feb. 1.

A week later, the Aggies head west to Tucson, Ariz., for a pair of matches. Up first are the Wildcats of Arizona on Feb. 7 followed by Northern Colorado the next day. NM State then takes a drive to Abilene, Texas, for a quick double header against host Abilene Christian before battling UT Permian Basin on Feb. 15.

New Mexico State will once again play in the HEB Tournament of Champions hosted by Texas A&M – Corpus Christi (Feb. 21-22) and the Golden State Invitational (March 6-7) hosted by Sacramento State and UC Davis.

The Aggies finally return home for the Battle of I-25 against New Mexico on Saturday, March 21, at 11 a.m. Western Athletic Conference action then starts a week later in Phoenix, Arizona, with the first pod hosted by Grand Canyon. NM State's first opponent will be Kansas City on March 27 before taking on UT Rio Grande Valley and host GCU the next two days.

NM State then concludes the regular-season with the second WAC Pod in the Windy City with matches against Seattle U (April 9) and Chicago State (April 10). The Aggies look to regain the WAC Tournament crown later that month in Kansas City, Mo., for the conference tournament (April 24-26).
