Aggies to host three meets at the NM State Swimming and Diving Complex.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State swimming and diving head coach Rick Pratt announced the Aggies' 2021-22 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. NM State is set to host three meets at the NM State Swimming and Diving Complex.

"Our team and staff are very excited about our future schedule," said Pratt. "It is going to be busy and we're going to try to make up for the lack of competitions from last season.  With the large size of our roster we also need to provide everyone with opportunities to compete."

The Aggies open the year with an Alumni Meet on Saturday, Sept. 25, before the annual Crimson and White Meet set for Wednesday, Sept. 29. NM State then gets its regular-season underway on Oct. 9 when it hosts Western Athletic Conference rival Northern Colorado.

Next, NM State has a few weeks to prepare for the Battle of I-25 in Albuquerque where it takes on the Lobos on Oct. 29 and 30. Following the rivalry meet, the Aggies make a trip to the Lone Star State, taking on SMU on Nov. 5 and North Texas on Nov. 6.

NM State then travels to St. George, Utah, for the Dixie State Invite from Nov. 18-20 before closing out the semester with the California Baptist invite on Dec. 17 and 18.

Following winter break, the Aggies are back in Las Cruces when they host GCU, BYU and Ottawa (Ariz.) on Saturday, Jan. 8, before hitting the road to take on defending WAC Championship NAU on Jan. 22. NM State then wraps up the regular season at home with another showdown with Battle of I-25 rival New Mexico on Jan. 29.

The Aggies are then set to travel to Houston, Texas, for the WAC Championships from Feb. 23-26 with NCAA Diving Zones taking place from March 7-9 and NCAA Championships from March 16-19.

"Competing against a couple programs we haven't faced in the while will be exciting with SMU and UNT, then having two invite style meets will also be a great experience," Pratt added. "Overall we have much to be excited and thankful for, it will be busy, but this team has the most depth and talent in program history and we're ready to get started!"

NM State is coming off a season in which it finished second at WAC Championships with its highest championship point total ever (619). Thirteen Aggies were named All-WAC including First Team All-WAC honorees Maude Boily-Dufour, Jordan Andrusak and Airam Oliva-Aun.
