DENVER – Following a stellar opening month of play, the duo of Roko Stipetic and Corey Clarke have been named the WAC Doubles Team of the Month for September.
 
During the month, the tandem compiled a record of 4-2 as they competed in both the Wildcat Invite and the ITA Bedford Cup in the Mountains during the first two weeks of play. The team of Stipetic and Clarke are also currently riding a two-match win streak.
 
This was also the first time that the pair played alongside one another as Stipetic is competing in his debut season with the Aggies.
 
The Aggie duo picked up its first win of the season in Tucson, Ariz., when they knocked off Grand Canyon's Jonathan Da Silva and David Wekesa by a score of 7-6 (7-4) in the semifinals of the consolation bracket.
 
The pair then opened the following weekend with a win over Montana State's tandem of Max Relic and Jacob Huppin (7-5) in the round of 32 at the Air Force Academy.
 
Along with the rest of the Aggies, Stipetic and Clarke now prepare in the ITA Regional Championship in Albuquerque, N.M., on Oct. 13-17.
