TUCSON, Ariz. – The Aggies men's tennis program has officially completed its first event of the fall season as they reached the conclusion of the Wildcat Invite in Arizona.
 
Luca Fe d'Ostiani entered the day looking for his second singles win of the weekend as he drew the challenge of Daniil Kakhniuk from rival New Mexico. The sophomore defeated the Lobo Kakhniuk in a narrow contest, 6-2, 3-6, 11-9.
 
Fe d'Ostiani would be the lone Aggie to earn a victory on the day, however, the Aggies did compile 10 total singles victories across the three-day event. NM State also tallied a trio of doubles wins against tough competition.
 
UP NEXT
The Aggies will have just four days off before returning to the courts as they will compete in the Bedford Cup in the Mountains from Friday, Sept. 23, to Sunday, Sept. 25. The three-day competition will take place on the campus of the U.S. Air Force Academy just north of Colorado Springs, Colo.
