NM State will be one of 16 programs to compete in Lubbock.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State women's golf team will take part in its second tournament of the season as they travel to Lubbock, Texas, to compete in the Red Raider Invitational hosted by Texas Tech University. The Aggies will compete alongside 15 other programs on The Rawls Course at Texas Tech where they will play 36 holes on Tuesday before returning for the final round on Wednesday.

AGGIE LINEUP
NM State will travel a total of six team members to Texas this week including junior Emma Bunch who is coming off an individual title at the Golfweek Fall Challenge. Bunch will also be joined by teammates Isabel Laulhé, Kaylee Chen, Camille Pazouki, Angela Garvin and Marley Moncada who will compete as individual. This will mark the first time that the Aggies compete in the Red Raider Invitational.

THE FIELD
Tuesday's opening round will begin at 8 a.m. MT and will include players from host Texas Tech, Abilene Christian, BYU, Campbell, Houston Christian, Incarnate Word, Kent State, Nebraska, New Mexico, SMU, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, UNLV, UTRGV, UTSA, UTEP.

THE COURSE
The Rawls Course at Texas Tech first opened in 2003 and was designed by renowned architect Tom Doak. Doak moved 1.3 million cubic yards of topsoil and shaped the earth to mimic the land east and south of Lubbock where the great plain suddenly starts falling into the valleys and canyons that lead to the Caprock region. This will mark the second straight season that Texas Tech plays host to the Red Raider Invitational at The Rawls Course.
