NM State Announces Date for Nusenda FCU Duel in the Desert Fundraiser Game

Aggies to host Tucson Baseball Team of the Mexican Pacific League.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State Aggies are set to play the Tucson Baseball Team next month on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. in the Nusenda FCU Duel in the Desert. The Tucson Baseball Team is a professional team from Mexico that plays in the Mexican Pacific League and will make its debut as a team since relocating from Sonora, Mexico.
 
The Aggies are coming off their second year in the Conference USA and second year under Head Coach Jake Angier, who guided the program to 23 wins in 2025, including 11 wins in league play.
 
"I am thrilled to be hosting another team this fall and I believe this is an opportunity for us to showcase the growth of our program and welcome fans from the Las Cruces community," said Head Coach Jake Angier. "With all the proceeds going toward improving the Aggie baseball program, we encourage all fans to attend and show their support next month.
 
This year's event will feature one nine-inning game scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Presley Askew Field. All tickets will be $50 and will serve as an all-inclusive rate, including food and beverages. Tickets will remain available until sold out.



Tickets are available through the Pan Am Box office by calling (575) 646-1420 or online through nmstatesports.com or by stopping by the box office Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
 
All proceeds raised from the event will go directly to the NM State baseball program.
