WACO, Texas – The NM State equestrian team dropped an 11-3 decision to No. 3 Baylor and fell 11-4 to Tennessee-Martin as it concluded the Willis Invitational on Saturday.
In the competition against Baylor,
Chelsea Brady and
Samantha Perlman earned scores of 71.0 and 75.0, respectively, as both earned points in equitation over fences for the Aggies.
Haley Newkirk collected a score of 70.0 in reining to earn a point for NM State.
Brady and
Elizabeth Solomon each used scores of 74.0 to earn points in equitation on the flat over Tennessee-Martin.
Rianna Storey used a 71.5 to garner a point in horsemanship, while
Kyla Myers earned a 69.0 to gain a point in reining.
The Aggies compete again on Oct. 23 as they travel to Fresno State. The time for this event is TBA.
