DOVER, Del. – The NM State equestrian team concluded the trip out east with an 11-5 loss to Delaware State on Saturday afternoon.
Elizabeth Solomon and
Chelsea Brady earned scores of 77 and 72, respectively, to each earn a point for the Aggies in equitation on the flat to help NM State tie 2-2 in that event.
Samantha Perlman had a score of 67 in equitation over fences to earn the team's lone point in that competition.
Rianna Storey and
Hallie Padilla both collected a point in horsemanship for the Aggies. Storey scored a 77.5 and Padilla scored a 76 to help the Aggies tie 2-2 in this western event. NM State fell 4-0 in the reining portion of the competition.
This contest concludes the fall portion of the season for the team. The Aggies will compete again on Feb. 19, 2016 as they host West Texas A&M.
