DAVIS, Calif. – The New Mexico State men's tennis team returned to the win column with its 4-1 victory over Saint Mary's on Saturday at the Eager Tennis Center.

NM State took an early 1-0 lead over Saint Mary's after its No. 2 and No. 3 doubles team defeated the Gaels 6-3 and 7-5, respectively.

Saint Mary's knotted things up at one apiece when Damon Kesaris was able to get the best of
Luis Flores 6-3, 6-3 on court No. 2.
Mauri Benitez gave the Aggies their lead back when he defeated Daniel Krtuik 7-5, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.

Sergi Espias quickly made it 3-1 in favor of the good guys with a 7-6, 6-4 victory on court No. 4 before
Christofer Goncalves clinched the match for NM State on court No. 1 in a three-set thriller 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.

NM State will now wrap up the Golden State Invitational at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, against Nevada at the Rio Del Oro Racquet Club.
