LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State swimming and diving team returns home as it hosts CSU-Pueblo in a dual meet on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free.

The two sides will compete in a standard 16 event meet. The Aggies beat the ThunderWolves 146-64 last season at the Swimming and Diving Complex.

Weekend in Review
Last weekend, NM State traveled to Wyoming on Oct. 12, and then Western Athletic Complex foe Northern Colorado on Oct. 13. The Aggies fell to the Cowgirls 178-117 and the Bears 112.5-187.5.

Despite the losses NM State had a number of solid individual performances. At Wyoming, freshman
Lauren Hemburrow won her first collegiate race in the 200 Free with a time of 1:57.18. Also against Wyoming,
Hanna McGowan and
Lauren Wood went first and second respectively in the 100 Breast while Wood took the 200 breast with a time of 2:25.39.

Against the Bears, senior
MacKinna Hauff dominated the dives, sweeping both the 1m and 3m. In the 3m Dive, Hauff finished over 50 points away from the second place finisher in the event. Hauff earned WAC Diver of the Week honors for her effort.

NM State gets almost a month off before it heads to Flagstaff to take on Northern Arizona on Friday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 17. As always, admission is free for all fans at the NM State Swimming and Diving Complex.
