LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State baseball team gets set to host Western Athletic Conference opponent Chicago State for a three-game weekend series, April 13-15, at Presley Askew Field.

WHERE TO WATCH
Aggies fans can watch the series opener against the Cougars this Friday, April 13, on FOX Sports Arizona PLUS or FOX College Sports Pacific. The game can also be streamed on the new ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Heading into the weekend series, Chicago State sits at 5-24 overall with a 0-9 mark in WAC play. The Cougars recently dropped a midweek contest to Milwaukee and were defeated in seven innings in each of their three contests against Sacramento State.
The Cougar offense holds a .214 batting average with 36 extra-base hits and a .298 on-base percentage. After 29 games the Cougars are led at the plate by Matt Paciello who has a .295 average with a team-high .421 slugging percentage.
Chicago State's pitching staff has a combined 8.37 ERA with a 6.4 strikeout average through nine innings and has allowed a .310 opponent batting average.

Brian Green's career. This victory marked the 100
th win of Green's career as head coach of NM State. The skipper joins Elliot Avent and
Gary Ward as the only coaches in school history to record 100 wins in just four seasons.

LAST TIME OUT
The New Mexico State baseball team traveled to Santa Ana Star Field for the first installment of the Battle of I-25 against in-state rival New Mexico on April 10. A two-out rally in the second inning gave the Aggies a large lead that led to a 9-1 victory over the Lobos. The win marked the 100th career victory during head coach
Brian Green's tenure at NM State.
At the plate, the Aggies outhit the Lobos 15-7 and saw all nine batters register a hit with five recording multiple base knocks on the night.
Justin Dehn earned the win after throwing 5.0 shutout innings and allowing just two hits.
