MESA, Ariz. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team salvaged its doubleheader Wednesday with a 4-0 win over Mesa Community College.

Yadira Rubio first win 6-0 before
Chloe Gavino and
Rebecca Keijzerwaard clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win on court No. 3.
Harsha Challa and
Gavi Kalaga wrapped things up with an easy 6-1 win on court No. 1 together.

Clara Rizea's opponent on court No. 6 retired and gave the Aggies (9-7) a 2-0 lead.
Quinty Janssen subbed in at the No. 5 singles slot with Challa out of the singles line-up and came up with a sweep 6-0, 6-0. Gavino clinched the match with an easy 6-0, 6-1 beat down of her opponent on court No. 3 to give NM State the win.

New Mexico State will wrap up its road swing on Thursday, March 27, when it takes on Paradise Valley Community College at 4 p.m. (MT).
