LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team heads to Lakewood, Wash., for the Western Athletic Conference Championship April 27-29 at Oakbrook Golf Club. The Aggies have won eight WAC Championships since joining the conference in 2006.

The League's head coaches picked NM State to finish fourth in the pre-championship coaches poll, as it received 32 points. Defending champion Kansas City was picked to repeat with seven first-place votes while Grand Canyon was picked to place second as they received the final first-place vote.

The starting lineup for the Aggies is set to consist of
Tadhg Campbell,
Ryo Harada,
Mike McGilton,
Niall Powell and
Garrison Smith. McGilton, a senior, leads the Aggies in stroke average at 72.3 over 32 rounds this season which also ranks sixth in the conference.
