LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State men's tennis senior
Enrique Asmar was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District At-Large Team for District 7 as selected by the College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA).

This is the third-straight year that Asmar has been honored by the long-time national organization every year he has been eligible and recently graduated with a 3.96 in civil engineering. The Barranquilla, Colombia, product is now headed to The Farm where he'll be pursuing a master's degree at Stanford University.

The Google Cloud Academic All-District At-Large Teams are nominated and voted on by members of the CoSIDA and has been recognizing student-athletes for their academic achievements since 1952.

Asmar wrapped up his senior campaign with 15 wins in singles play with 19 victories in doubles action – 16 of which came alongside fellow senior
Stijn de Haan. He concludes his career in the Crimson & White with 77 career victories in singles with 68 career wins in doubles.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
