LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The Aggies head east to play conference foe Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in a three-game April 12- April 14. Friday night's game will kick off at 5 p.m. MT, Saturdays game will start at 2 p.m. MT with the third and final game starting at noon MT.

On-base Streaks
Several Aggies are currently on on-base streaks, most notably
Mitch Namie, who is currently on a 15 game on-base streak. This streak by Namie is his longest on-base streak this season.

Keith Jones II,
Damone Hale and
Titus Dumitru have all reached base safely in the last five games.
Nick Gore is on a nine game on-base streak, he still has a long way to go to tie his longest streak of 17.
Sheehan O'Connor just needs to reach base safely in the next two consecutive games to tie his season high of eight games as he currently sits at a six game on-base streak.Â

The Aggies offensive numbers are impressive as they are leading the conference in on-base percentage, .412. Not only are they getting on base they are also putting themselves in prime position to score with 13 triples on the year which also leads the conference.

The Aggies' high-powered offense is still producing a lot of runs as they are third in the conference in runs with 246. They are also second in runs per game with 7.9. The Aggies have managed to get on base with 159 walks, which is second in the conference.

Keith Jones II is Hot at the Plate
Keith Jones II is on a tear lately in the season batting .378 over the last ten games played. Jones has recorded 14 hits, with five doubles and three homers for a slugging percentage of .757 in the last ten games. In those games, Jones has recorded a team leading eight RBI's.

Jones is leading the conference in OPS with a 1.214; he is second in doubles with 13 just one behind the conference leader Ethan Bates of LA Tech. Jones is fourth in the conference in slugging percentage with a .717, and second in walks with 27.

The Blue Raiders have a team batting average of .292 with a slugging percentage of .454 and on-base percentage of .367. Briggs rugger is leading the team with a batting average of .369, he also as 33 RBIs and a team leading eight homers.

The last time that these two teams have played each other was in 2005 when the Aggies and the Blue Raiders faced off in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, the aggies fell in this game 8-2. Just three days prior to that game MTSU swept the Aggies in a three-game series.

The Aggies have a record of 7-9 against the Blue Raiders. With a home record of 4-2 with an away record of 4-5 and a neutral game of 0-1. The first time these two teams played each other was in 2001 which was a three-game series where the Aggies lost the first two games and won the third game.
