LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Due to roster issues within the Tucson Baseball Team organization, the Duel in the Desert presented by Nusenda will now shift to a Crimson and White exhibition game featuring Aggie talent in both dugouts.
 
In place of the originally scheduled contest against the team from the Mexican Pacific League, NM State Baseball will now host an exhibition game with the Aggies' 34 players spread across two teams on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. at Presley Askew Field. Tickets purchased for the all-inclusive event will still be honored, and every dollar raised will continue to directly benefit the Aggie baseball program.
 
The fall event will feature a competitive format showcasing the depth and talent of the 2026 Aggie roster, giving fans a unique look at the team ahead of the spring season.
