@NMStateSwimDive Gears Up for Rivalry Week

Battle I-25 rival New Mexico visits the City of Crosses for a dual meet.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State swimming and diving team returns to the pool when hosts New Mexico in the Battle of I-25 at the Swimming and Diving Complex on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 11:30 a.m. (MT).

"UNM is a talented squad and has some of the top freestylers in the Mountain West," said head coach Rick Pratt. "We'll have to take advantage of our depth in certain events along with winning key match ups to be successful.  Our team recognizes the significance of this dual and we are going to be prepared to give them everything we have.  We've had a great past couple weeks of practice and are coming off a great meet against Idaho.  We're swimming with confidence and the situation should prepare us well for WAC, and set us up for some great match ups."

The Aggies are set to contest the 1m dive, 200 Medley relay, 1,000 Free, 200 Free, 100 Back, 100 Breast, 200 Fly, 50 Free, 1m Dive, 100 Free, 200 Back, 200 Breast, 500 Free, 100 Fly, 3m Dive, 200 IM and 400 Free relay.
