Earned Third Team All-American honors in 1984...PCAA Player of the year in 1985...Won UCLA/Billy Bryant Tournament, beating future PGA Tour member Duffy Waldorf for medalist honors...As a PGA Tour member, won 2004 Valero Texas Open, 2005 Memorial and Tour Championships finishing ninth on the money list...One of the best drivers on the tour...Played for NM State Hall of Fame coach Herb Wimberly and teamed with NM State Hall of Fame PGA Tour golfer Tom Byrum.
