Graduate of Las Cruces High School, was top running back of his era and the greatest high school football coach in New Mexico history...Also the head coach at NM State from 1973-77...Holds program record for longest run from scrimmage (90 yards) against New Mexico (1954 season)...Second Team selection on NM State's All-Time Team in 1972...Coached high school football at Las Cruces HS, Mayfield HS and Roswell HS...Amassed 310 career coaching victories and seven state titles at the high school level.
